EDI/Portal
Below you will find helpful information in relation to ONE's direct EDI and Portal offerings.
EDI
EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange and is used to exchange business documents electronically. At the crux of EDI, is the use of standard message formats that allow quick setup between trading partners.
There are two EDI message Standards that are predominantly used to transmit data around the globe: ANSI and EDIFACT. ANSI or the American National Standards Institute is used primarily in North America. EDIFACT or Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and Trade is used primarily in the rest of world namely Europe, Asia and Oceania.
Please see below a list of messages that ONE currently exchanges with its customers. We have the capability to exchange messages both in ANSI and EDIFACT formats. We also support other non standard formats such as XMLs, CSVs, Flat Files etc.
